Short Bio:

I received my Master degree in Control Engineering (with a focus on Machine Learning) in 2009 from the University of Tehran, Iran. The topic of my dissertation was "Concept Learning and Transfer among Heterogeneous Agents". After being graduated, I got employed in industrial sectors as control/intelligent systems engineer. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at the Cognitive Interaction Technology Center (CITEC) at Bielefeld University. The subject of my Ph.D. project is “Semantic analysis of motion data" for which more detail is available here. My research interests lie in machine learning and data mining including topics such as temporal data analysis, interpretable machine learning, deep learning, and kernel-learning. More information about my research interests, projects and publications can be accessed at my home-page.
