CITEC research in Bielefeld University's magazine BI.research

The robots are coming? They’re already there! In its latest issue, Bielefeld’s research magazine BI.research takes a look at research on interactive intelligent systems at Bielefeld University. Its main focus is on the Center of Excellence Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) and the new CITEC building located on Bielefeld’s North Campus.

The new issue includes articles on the four new large-scale projects at the Center of Excellence. One of these is the  intelligent apartment that should perceive its visitors and assist them with their everyday needs.

22 short reports present prototypes at Bielefeld University’s strategic research area Interactive Intelligent Systems: these range from the mini-robot AMiRo across the Intelligent washstand and the walking robot Hector to the avatar Vince.
