Paper accepted at ISCAS 2017 in Baltimore, United States

The Neuromorphic Behaving Systems Group is proud that a paper from Elisabetta Chicca is accepted at the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems 2017 in Baltimore, United States.

Fernando Perez-Peña will present a poster for the paper “Towards Bioinspired Close-Loop Local Motor Control: a Simulated Approach Supporting Neuromorphic Implementations” by Fernando Perez-Peña, J. Antonio Leñero-Bardallo, Alejandro Linares-Barranco and Elisabetta Chicca. This paper presents the model and simulation of a spiking neural network for low-level motor control, which uses PFM modulation. The controller is a first step toward a novel bioinspired motor control approach suitable for robotics as well as neuroprosthetic.
