The seminar will present recent perspectives on robotic cognition for human-robot interaction. I will present how robots can build amodal models of their human-like environment supporting several cognitive processes required by autonomous service robots, like mutual task planning,
perspective taking, natural dialogue grounding. In particular, we will detail our approach regarding symbol grounding with ontologies, and how this is used to implement a simple theory of mind in robots.
