Dear colleagues and friends,

it's our pleasure to invite you to the official opening and inauguration of the new "MediaLab" at Bielefeld University's Faculty of Technology and Center of Excellence CITEC. The MediaLab provides the environment for research and teaching of the "Computer Graphics & Geometry Processing Group" (Prof. Botsch) and the "Sociable Agents Group" (Prof. Kopp). The projects in the lab are centered around the creation of interactive virtual characters that look realistic, move naturally, learn and behave intelligently. We will celebrate the opening with an open lab day, beverages, and a fresh glimpse at out our most recent projects.

The opening will take place Wednesday, 4.5.2011, 14:00-18:00 o'clock, in room H1-116. Note that the H-building is not part of the university's main building, but is located on Morgenbreede 39: http://graphics.uni-bielefeld.de/people/campus-map.png
