In this talk I would like first to introduce briefly some topics and curiosities related to the percetion of the human face. Aiming at analising faces, we first need to detect them. So in the second part I will present the Viola-Jones framework to detect the face and its facial features. I will describe the procedure to train a classifier and the results achieved.
