Developing technical systems that are intuitive and easy to operate for human users: this is the objective of the Center for Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) at Bielefeld University. Technical systems should adapt to its human users and not the other way round. From 2007 until 2019, CITEC was part of the Excellence Initiative funded by the Federal and State Governments.
