The need for computational power and storage capacity is increasing every year. Moreover, there is a growing demand for inexpensive, maintainable and energy-efficient systems on a small scale. RECS, a resource-efficient cluster server, is currently being developed to meet different aspects of resource efficiency while being compact and modular.
