Current low power wireless communication technologies such as Zigbee, Z-Wave and BLE are highly susceptible to cluttered environments, i.e. indoor and underground, because numerous multi-paths are created by closely spaced scattering objects. My research is focused on UWB technology which will use very low power to overcome the mentioned problems.
