Spatial learning strategies, visual information acquisition and efficiency of local navigation

The project analyses and models the role of structured movements for local navigation in honeybees, how representations and memories of the surroundings of a goal are formed, and what mechanisms honeybees use to extract the relevant information from their spatio-temporal retinal input.
