Stefan Kopp was elected president of the German Cognitive Science Society
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Kopp from the Faculty of Technology, deputy coordinator of the Collaborative Research Center 'Alignment in Communication' (SFB 673) and head of the research group 'Sociable Agents' at the Center of Excellence 'Cognitive Interaction Technology' (CITEC) was elected as President of the German Cognitive Science Society (GK), starting in October 2012 for the period of two years. Prof. Kopp already has been member of the governing board of the society for six years before.
The German Cognitive Science Society was founded in 1994 with the aim to promote research in the field of cognitive science while supporting and combining the manifold disciplines of this field with organizational structures.
