At the 4th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence CITEC member Alexa Breuing received the "Best Student Paper Award" for the paper "Let's Talk Topically with Artificial Agents!
Since Bielefeld Universitys first participation in the Robo-Cup World Championships three years ago, it has become almost a tradition that Bielefelds Team ToBi gives a demonstration of the robots performance shown in the competition by the start of the new semester. The Team ToBi (Team of Bielefeld) could improve its WorldCup participation from year to year, reaching the finals of the top five teams for the first time at the 2011 RoboCup in Istanbul.
