The North Rhine-Westphalian (NRW) Academy of the Sciences and the Arts has appointed the Bielefeld Computer Science Professor Dr. Helge Ritter to its ranks. The Academy is celebrating its anniversary by appointing 22 new full members. These new members will enter the ranks of the Academy in a celebration to be held on 12 May.
The Bielefeld Collaborative Research Centre 673 "Alignment in Communication" is to receive 4 more years of funding according to an announcement by the German Research Foundation (DFG) this week. "That is a great success", says Professor Dr. Ipke Wachsmuth, the speaker, "that rewards the hard work we have done in recent years".
